We are seeking a skilled PDF Accessibility Remediation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will convert and remediate PDF documents to achieve full compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Responsibilities include adding and validating proper tags, reading order, alt text for images, headings, hyperlinks, tables, and lists; running thorough accessibility checks using Adobe Acrobat Pro (and optionally CommonLook/PAC tools); ensuring complete screen-reader compatibility with JAWS and NVDA; performing detailed quality assurance to resolve all accessibility issues; and working closely with the project lead to meet daily targets and deliver fully compliant, high-quality PDFs to our U.S.-based clients.
